• Jabot Cosmetics was founded by John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) over thirty years ago. His children Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) have worked there on and off for decades. It is currently owned by the Abbott family,with Jack being CEO. It is described as a line of "advanced scientific skincare and luxurious fragrances." In June 2011, the cosmetics line was made a "reality" when a licensing deal was struck between CBS Consumer Products and Sony Pictures Television. The cosmetics are manufactured by Fusion Brands. The products range from $15 to $40 USD. In a statement, then-executive producer/head writer Maria Arena Bell stated: "For the first time our fans can own a piece of the show, and at the same time, share in the storyline as it unfolds live on TV The brand launch is going to be completely integrated to the show. The back story on how Jabot started and product development is going to be featured in Y&R story lines, and we are going to use actual Jabot products on-set with the same packaging as you will see in retail. Plus, viewers will soon see a new Jabot set as well!"
• Newman Enterprises, headed by world-renowned business tycoon Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), is a conglomerate that not only competes with Jabot in the cosmetics field but has interests in real estate, medical research, as well as other businesses ripe to be bought up. Over the years a number of characters have worked there, in particular Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Abbott (Amelia Heinle). As of October 17,2012 Jack Abbott assumes the role of Chairman of The Board and C.E.O.
• Chancellor Industries, headed by Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and her son Tucker McCall is another powerhouse conglomerate.
• Fenmores Department Store's head office, headed by the founder's daughters, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Jill Abbott Fenmore (Jess Walton), is located in Genoa.
• TagNGrab was founded by Kevin Fisher and his wife, Chloe Mitchell in 2012. It is a retail website. He persuaded Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to join the website.
