Broadcasting Success
Since its inception, Gayelle’s programming has gained quite a following with local audiences who have warmed to and certainly identify with programming which reflects various aspects of T&T culture in its live and recorded broadcasts. Gayelle has also won many local awards such as the Treasure Licensee Award by the Copyright Music Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT).
On March 2, 2010, Gayelle made a major breakthrough when they signed an agreement with OBE TV, a Pan-African broadcaster of African-Caribbean content based in the United Kingdom at the Trinidad and Tobago's High Commission in London. This agreement would see the European African community and the Caribbean community being represented in the UK.
