Larson currently lives at Tannum Sands in Qld, with his wife Kate who is a former supermodel, his son Jack, who does outrigging and swimming, and daughter Poppy who is a well known netball player. Larson coaches and trains the local rugby league team, the Seagulls. He is also the brother-in-law of fellow former Norths team mate Greg Florimo.
