Garda Emergency Response Unit
The Emergency Response Unit (Irish: Aonad Práinnfhreagartha) of the Garda Síochána is a specialist armed intervention unit under the Special Detective Unit (SDU), formed to deal with situations that cannot be handled by regular Garda officers.
