Fox Sports Networks - Fox Sports Networks HD

Fox Sports Networks HD

FSN HD is a 720p high definition simulcast of FSN featuring high-definition programming such as live sporting events. Usually, each regional channel has its own separate HD feed. Also, all live sports that FSN has rights to televise nationally air in HD on all affiliates, except when conflicts with local sports arise.

As of November 2009 some of the regional Fox Sports Networks have placed their HD channels into 24/7 service using stylized pillarboxes of the regional FSN logo to wrap around standard definition programming.

Famous quotes containing the words fox, sports and/or networks:

Perhaps of all our untamed quadrupeds, the fox has obtained the widest and most familiar reputation.... His recent tracks still give variety to a winter’s walk. I tread in the steps of the fox that has gone before me by some hours, or which perhaps I have started, with such a tip-toe of expectation as if I were on the trail of the Spirit itself which resides in the wood, and expected soon to catch it in its lair.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Short of a wholesale reform of college athletics—a complete breakdown of the whole system that is now focused on money and power—the women’s programs are just as doomed as the men’s are to move further and further away from the academic mission of their colleges.... We have to decide if that’s the kind of success for women’s sports that we want.
Christine H. B. Grant, U.S. university athletic director. As quoted in the Chronicle of Higher Education, p. A42 (May 12, 1993)

To be perfectly, brutally honest, those of us who are still carrying diaper everywhere we go are not at our most scintillating time of life....We need to remember that at one time in our lives, we all had senses of humor and knew things that were going on in the world. And if we just keep our social networks open, there will be people ready to listen when we once again have intelligent things to say.
    Louise Lague (20th century)
