Fox Sports Midwest - History

History

FSN Midwest began in the November 1989 as Prime Sports Midwest as an affiliate of the Prime Network. Originally seen mostly in Indiana, it began moving westward in 1994. It joined Fox Sports Net and changed its name to Fox Sports Midwest on November 1, 1996, then to Fox Sports Net Midwest in 1999 and FSN Midwest in 2004 before reverting to the Fox Sports Midwest moniker in 2008.

On July 15, 2010, Fox Sports Midwest signed a new exclusive contract with the St. Louis Cardinals that starts in 2011, ending the team's broadcasts on KSDK.
