The title of the show, "First Class", is a reference on Singapore's desire to always be "world class" or "first class".
First Class is primarily filmed at Bendemeer Secondary School (Seasons 1 & 2), and Nan Chiau High School (Season 2).
The Season 2 episode, Injustice for All, is a reference to the Justice League episode, Injustice For All. It even has the student villains team up to form an "Injustice Gang."
