A partial list of some equipment typically used by firefighters:
- Hand tools, such as
- Flat-head and pick-head axe
- Pike pole
- Halligan bar
- Flashlight
- Spanner wrench
- Circular ("K-12"), Cutters Edge, and/or chain saws
- Hydraulic rescue tools such as spreaders, cutters, and rams
