Fireball Island - Rules

Rules

The game mechanics in Fireball Island are moderately complex, requiring both skill and luck to win. The object of the game is to escape the island with the jewel, which must first be stolen from the top of the mountain on which Vul-Kar sits. There is only one jewel, so once a player grabs it he/she becomes the target of the others. The jewel may change hands many times during the course of a game.

Players roll the dice to choose who goes first.

Famous quotes containing the word rules:

    Learn hence for ancient rules a just esteem;
    To copy Nature is to copy them.
    Alexander Pope (1688–1744)

    The duce of any other rule have I to govern myself by in this affair—and if I had one ... I would twist it and tear it to pieces, and throw it into the fire when I had done—Am I warm? I am, and the cause demands it—a pretty story! is a man to follow rules—or rules to follow him?
    Laurence Sterne (1713–1768)

    [O]ur rules can have authority over such natural rights only as we have submitted to them. The rights of conscience we never submitted, we could not submit. We are answerable for them to our God.
    Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826)
