Fertilizer City is a gated township with two entrances. It has over 1,200 housing units with a Shopping complex, Hospital, Bank, Recreation Center, Club, 2 Guest Houses & 3 Parks. A Temple, Mosque, Church & Gurudwara are also in the township. The township has Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Shuttle, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball courts/grounds. The township has a movie theater in the recreation center. Movies were played on weekends during 1980s. It has an intercom system. From the mid-1980s the township has had a cable television network.
