Fasnia

Fasnia is the name of a municipality, town, and valley in the eastern part of the Spanish island of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands, and part of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The municipality is located in the southeastern end of the island, and extends for 45.1 square kilometers (17.4 sq mi) from the mountainous interior to the beaches on the Atlantic. Fasnia is on a valley setting. Its estimated population is 2,641. Fasnia is linked with the TF1 superhighway and has an interchange near and is also linked with the old highway linking Arona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is also a suburb of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, one of the southernmost.
