. He played three more season at Como, all in Serie C1, before joining Serie B side Monza in 1998.

In 2000, he moved to Salernitana, scoring a total of 26 goals in three Serie B seasons for the granata, with 20 of them in the 2001-02 season. In January 2003 he accepted an offer from newly-promoted Serie A team Modena, and marked his top-flight début in a 0-2 home loss to Atalanta on January 25, 2003. He stayed at Modena for three seasons before moving at Parma on January 2005.

He then signed for Serie B's Bologna six months later, but failed to impress, scoring only two goals in 31 matches, and was released for free on June 2006. After six months without a club, on February 2007 he accepted an offer from relegation-battling Serie B side Bari, where he failed to score a single goal in his 15 appearances with the galletti.

Again without a contract, he was signed by Lazio on September 2007 in a one-year deal. Following the expiration of his Lazio contract, Vignaroli signed for Super League Greece club Panthrakikos.
