Experimental Jetset

Experimental Jetset is a graphic design company based in Amsterdam. It was founded by Marieke Stolk, Danny van den Dungen and Erwin Brinkers, who met when they studied at Gerrit Rietveld Academy. Their style can be described as conceptual and minimalistic. They are known for their use of Helvetica, which is often, but not exclusively, used in their works.

They designed the packaging of the Blu-ray version of Helvetica the movie, where they also appeared.

Some of Experimental Jetset's most recognised (and copied) works are the T-shirts with the text:

John& Paul& Ringo& George.

Famous quotes containing the word experimental:

Philosophers of science constantly discuss theories and representation of reality, but say almost nothing about experiment, technology, or the use of knowledge to alter the world. This is odd, because ‘experimental method’ used to be just another name for scientific method.... I hope [to] initiate a Back-to-Bacon movement, in which we attend more seriously to experimental science. Experimentation has a life of its own.
    Ian Hacking (b. 1936)
