The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a membership organisation of more than 70,000 cardiology professionals across Europe and the Mediterranean. It is involved in scientific and educational activities for cardiology professionals and also promotes cardiovascular disease prevention messages to the general public. ESC headquarters are based at the European Heart House in Sophia Antipolis, France.
