Personal Life and Family
She was the illegitimate daughter of Alexander Henderson (1828–1886). She was married for a time to playwright Cecil Raleigh (born Cecil Rowlands, from whom she may have taken her pen name), who divorced her. She later married Chevalier Carlo Albanesi, an Italian musician. She was the mother of actress Meggie Albanesi (née Margherita Cecila Brigida Lucia Maria Albanesi, 1899–1923).
