Later Life

On his return to England, Harrison was elected Member of Parliament for Hertford. He also served as a Postmaster-General from 1725 till his death in 1732.

Harrison had one daughter Audrey Ethelreda Harrison, through his marriage with Frances Bray, who married Charles Townshend, 3rd Viscount Townshend in 1723.
