Edmund Burke (poet)
Edmund Burke, Irish poet, fl. 1856.
Burke's only work was a book of poems called Musings in the Village Haunts. He is otherwise unknown. However, the book's preface is signed by the author at "Kinvara, January 28, 1856"; an entry in the Alumni Dublinenses lists an Edmund Burke, stating Entered T.C.D. November 4, 1822, aged 17, son of John Generosus; born County Galway.
