Academic Performance
Students at the school consistently perform at high academic levels. In 2006, Eastern Tech had the highest pass rate in Baltimore County of the High School Assessments in Algebra, Biology, English, and Government. Over 20 percent of the student body participate in Advanced Placement programs, and over 80 percent of those students achieve a passing grade on the AP exams.

On June 19, 2011, Newsweek Magazine ranks Eastern Tech as the #131 school in the nation, tops in Baltimore County.
