Famous quotes containing the words driving, license and/or japan:

Most of the rules and precepts of the world take this course of pushing us out of ourselves and driving us into the market place, for the benefit of public society.
    Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)

My attitude toward punctuation is that it ought to be as conventional as possible. The game of golf would lose a good deal if croquet mallets and billiard cues were allowed on the putting green. Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)

    Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882–1945)
