The relationship was Gomez's most high-profile and the two became a teen power couple. On November 11, 2012, it was widely reported that the couple had ended their relationship after nearly two years, due to apparent busy schedules and "trust issues." However, it was reported twelve days later that the couple had gotten back together after Bieber begged Gomez for forgiveness. However, they broke up for good around New Year's 2013.
