Double O Radio is a privately held media corporation with corporate headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina. The chief executive officer is Terry Bond. Double O Radio owns several radio stations in the United States.
On August 8, 2011, Double O announced it would merge with Townsquare Media and become part of the Oaktree Capital Management broadcast empire. The Panama City, FL and Columbia, SC clusters are not part of the transaction, and will continue to be held by Double O's parent company, Pilot Group.
On April 11, 2012, Double O spun off its Panama City cluster to Iowa-based Powell Broadcasting for $950,000, pending FCC approval.
