International Career
Van Tornhout was capped for Belgium at various youth levels from Under 16's to Under 21's, scoring 4 goals and earning 16 caps. His international debut came in a 0-0 draw against Macedonia during the qualifying round of the Under 16's European Championship on 5 March 2001. His last international appearance was against in a 2-1 win over Greece Under 21's on 6 September 2006.
