Being one of the oldest town of Assam, Dibrugarh has well established information and broadcasting network. Assamese newspapers published from Dibrugarh are Asomiya Pratidin and Janasadharan. English newspapers are The Assam Tribune and The Sentinel. Dibrugarh also has a Doordarshan centre.
