Denis Byrne

Denis Byrne (Irish: Donncha Ó Broin ), is an Irish sportsperson who is a hurling All Star. Denis played with his local club Graigue-Ballycallan and is a former captain of Kilkenny senior inter-county hurling team. His playing career lasted from 1991 until 2001, and he currently skills training the Dublin Senior Hurling team.

He won a minor all-Ireland medal with Kilkenny in 1991. Denis won an All-Ireland Under 21 Hurling Championship with Kilkenny in 1994. Byrne won an NHL medal for Kilkenny in 1995. He was on the Kilkenny all-Ireland winning side in 2000 and was awarded an All-Star during the same year.
