Denial (Sugababes Song) - Development

Development

"Denial" was written by Sugababes members Heidi Range, Keisha Buchanan and Amelle Berrabah in collabroation with Flex Turner, Elliot Malloy and Vanessa Brown. During an interview with BBC, Brown discussed her contribution to the track, saying: "I wrote a song called Denial which was submitted to them and they liked it. I was lucky because they probably had millions of songs being pitched to them. But by giving that song away it was validation that I'd truly found who I am in both territories as a song writer, as a producer, as a writer and as an artist." She wrote the song while on the Victoria Line in London Underground. Turner and Malloy also produced and programmed "Denial". Turner provided the guitar for the track, while additional keyboard and drum programming was provided by Pete Boxsta Martin and Jeremy Wheatley, respectively. Mixing for the song was also done by Wheatley at Twenty One Studios, London; Richard Edgeler served as the assistant.

Famous quotes containing the word development:

I do seriously believe that if we can measure among the States the benefits resulting from the preservation of the Union, the rebellious States have the larger share. It destroyed an institution that was their destruction. It opened the way for a commercial life that, if they will only embrace it and face the light, means to them a development that shall rival the best attainments of the greatest of our States.
    Benjamin Harrison (1833–1901)

To be sure, we have inherited abilities, but our development we owe to thousands of influences coming from the world around us from which we appropriate what we can and what is suitable to us.
    Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749–1832)

America is a country that seems forever to be toddler or teenager, at those two stages of human development characterized by conflict between autonomy and security.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)
