Denial (Sugababes Song)
"Denial" is a song by English girl group Sugababes from their fifth studio album, Change (2007). It was written by band members Heidi Range, Keisha Buchanan and Amelle Berrabah, in collaboration with Flex Turner, Elliot Malloy and Vanessa Brown; Turner and Malloy produced the song. "Denial" was released on 10 March 2008 as the fourth and final single from Change. Musically, "Denial" is a pop song that incorporates the genres of soft rock and Europop.
Critical response for "Denial" was generally mixed, as some reviewers called the song the best song from Change, while others criticized its composition. "Denial" was a commercial success; it reached number one in the Czech Republic, the top-five in Austria and Belgium, and the top-forty in the UK, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, and Switzerland. In December 2008, The Sun revealed that "Denial" was the second-most requested Google UK search for songs and lyrics.
