Delany College is a Roman Catholic, co-educational Secondary day school, located in Granville, a western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Originally founded as 'Patrician Brothers, Granville' in 1942, Delany College currently caters for approximately 550 students from years 7 to 12, and is a school of the Diocese of Parramatta. Students are drawn from a number of local catholic schools including Holy Trinity Primary, Granville; Holy Family Primary, Granville East; St Patrick's Primary, Guildford and St Margaret Mary's Primary, Merrylands.
Since then, it has been reformed in 1997, under the control of Mr Quentin Evans (Sanctioned by the Diocese), who currently teaches at St Aloysius' College (Sydney), Milsons Point. It is also worth noting that Mr Q. Evans founded another Catholic school, Terra Sancta College, in 1996.

Famous quotes containing the words delany and/or college:
“...you dont have to be as good as white people, you have to be better or the best. When Negroes are average, they fail, unless they are very, very lucky. Now, if youre average and white, honey, you can go far. Just look at Dan Quayle. If that boy was colored hed be washing dishes somewhere.”
—Annie Elizabeth Delany (b. 1891)
“The only trouble here is they wont let us study enough. They are so afraid we shall break down and you know the reputation of the College is at stake, for the question is, can girls get a college degree without ruining their health?”
—Ellen Henrietta Swallow Richards (18421911)
