Riolo is now an AFL Accredited Agent.
Early in his player management career, Riolo worked with prominent internationals Jason Cayless, Craig Fitzgibbon and Andrew Ryan. He previously managed a number of the NRL’s highest profile players, including Todd Carney, Paul Gallen, James Graham, Brett Morris, Josh Morris and Anthony Minichiello. His high profile AFL clients include Kieren Jack and Harley Bennell.
Most notably, he negotiated cross-code moves for multi-sport athlete Karmichael Hunt, from the Brisbane Broncos (NRL) to Biarritz Olympique in France (Top 14 Rugby Union), and then to the Gold Coast Suns (AFL) back in Australia.
In April 2012, Riolio was banned by the The Rugby League Accredited Player Agents Scheme's committee for six months over his actions in the Melbourne Storm salary cap breach and subsequently lost his accreditation as a Player Agent.
In October 2012, Riolio had his appeal against the ban dismissed and was unable to resume his duties until three weeks after the 2013 NRL season commenced.
Riolio is no longer listed as an Accredited Agent under the Rugby League Accredited Player Agent Scheme.
