Daughters of The Dragon - Fictional Organization History

Fictional Organization History

The name comes from an attempted slight from Iron Fist foe Davos, the Steel Serpent, said in a tongue-in-cheek way while he fled from the two heroines. That story, where they guest-starred with Spider-Man, was the first of many featuring their partnership as heroines in their own merits. Since Iron Fist's first series had been canceled at that time, the two characters followed with him into his guest appearances in the series Luke Cage, Power Man. Shortly thereafter the two male characters became co-stars in the renamed Power Man/Iron Fist series, with Colleen and Misty as supporting cast, who operated Knightwing Restorations Inc.

Famous quotes containing the words fictional, organization and/or history:

One of the proud joys of the man of letters—if that man of letters is an artist—is to feel within himself the power to immortalize at will anything he chooses to immortalize. Insignificant though he may be, he is conscious of possessing a creative divinity. God creates lives; the man of imagination creates fictional lives which may make a profound and as it were more living impression on the world’s memory.
    Edmond De Goncourt (1822–1896)

Your organization is not a praying institution. It’s a fighting institution. It’s an educational institution right along industrial lines. Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living!
    Mother Jones (1830–1930)

It is my conviction that women are the natural orators of the race.
Eliza Archard Connor, U.S. suffragist. As quoted in History of Woman Suffrage, vol. 4, ch. 9, by Susan B. Anthony and Ida Husted Harper (1902)
