Danny Sheridan - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

In 2002, Danny Sheridan and the Eli Radish Band were featured in Deanna Adams' book, "Rock and Roll and the Cleveland Connection", recounting the band's early years forming in the Northeast Ohio area. In 2004 the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Museum added some of Sheridan's memorabilia to their permanent collection. Pictured here: one of his bass guitar cases, a rhinestone shirt and a "Ringo & His All Starrs" artist pass.

Recently Sheridan co-produced 'House' re-mixes for Rock Star: Supernova's Dilana with Barcelona DJ Franco Munoz and continues to compose for and produce other important musicians and radio shows today, including Nina Blackwood's syndicated "Absolutely 80s", "New Wave Nation", and her "80s On 8" Sirius XM Radio shows.

Famous quotes containing the words rock and, rock, roll, hall and/or fame:

My spirit looks to God alone,
My rock and refuge is His throne,
In all my fears, in all my straits,
My soul on His salvation waits.
    Isaac Watts (1674–1748)

When we were at school we were taught to sing the songs of the Europeans. How many of us were taught the songs of the Wanyamwezi or of the Wahehe? Many of us have learnt to dance the rumba, or the cha cha, to rock and roll and to twist and even to dance the waltz and foxtrot. But how many of us can dance, or have even heard of the gombe sugu, the mangala, nyang’umumi, kiduo, or lele mama?
    Julius K. Nyerere (b. 1922)

There is no question what the roll of honor in America is. The roll of honor consists of the names of men who have squared their conduct by ideals of duty.
    Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)

Having children can smooth the relationship, too. Mother and daughter are now equals. That is hard to imagine, even harder to accept, for among other things, it means realizing that your own mother felt this way, too—unsure of herself, weak in the knees, terrified about what in the world to do with you. It means accepting that she was tired, inept, sometimes stupid; that she, too, sat in the dark at 2:00 A.M. with a child shrieking across the hall and no clue to the child’s trouble.
    Anna Quindlen (20th century)

Celebrity-worship and hero-worship should not be confused. Yet we confuse them every day, and by doing so we come dangerously close to depriving ourselves of all real models. We lose sight of the men and women who do not simply seem great because they are famous but are famous because they are great. We come closer and closer to degrading all fame into notoriety.
    Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)
