Dane Hartman

Dane Hartman was a Warner Books imprint pseudonym used by at least two American novelists, Ric Meyers and Leslie Alan Horvitz. "Hartman" was credited as the author of the Dirty Harry action series based on the “Dirty” Harry Callahan character of the popular 1970’s and 1980’s films starring Clint Eastwood.

Warner Books published the Dirty Harry books from 1981 to 1983. During the 1990's, Jean-Paul Schweighaeuser translated them into French, for publication by Éditions Fleuve Noir as the Collection Supercops.
