Formal Covenants
In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints formal covenants include baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost partaking of the sacrament; the oath and covenant of the priesthood; various promises made in the temple endowment; and the temple marriage covenant.
