Court of Appeal of Cameroon

The Courts of Appeal are appellate courts in Cameroon. They are defined in Part V of the constitution of Cameroon as being under the Supreme Court.

Famous quotes containing the words court of, court and/or appeal:

Universal empire is the prerogative of a writer. His concerns are with all mankind, and though he cannot command their obedience, he can assign them their duty. The Republic of Letters is more ancient than monarchy, and of far higher character in the world than the vassal court of Britain.
    Thomas Paine (1737–1809)

World history is a court of judgment.
    Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831)

Peace does not appear so distant as it did. I hope it will come soon, and come to stay; and so come as to be worth the keeping in all future time. It will then have been proved that, among free men, there can be no successful appeal from the ballot to the bullet; and that they who take such appeal are sure to lose their case, and pay the cost.
    Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)
