History
The Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) is among the eleven Regional Science High Schools established in the country in school year 1994-1995 by virtue of DECS ordre No. 69,s. 1993.
Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) is a Science High School which is operated and supervised by the Department of Education just like all other Regional Science High Schools in the country. It is also dependent on funds provided by the Department of Education and not the Department of Science and technology (DOST0, as it was a popular misconception.
CRSHS started its operation in school year 1994-1995 with all enrolment of eighty six first year students. it operated under its mother school – the Benguet National High School - until R.A No. 8376 authored by then Congressman Ronald M. Cosalan entitled “ An Act Establishing the Cordillera Regional Science High School in La Trinidad, Benguet and Appropriating funds Thereof” was approved on November 13, 1997.
From June 1994 to December 1998, CRSHS has been using the Benguet School Teacher's Association (BSTA) building in the barangay hall & warehouse at the Puguis Elementary School Site for its classes.
On January 4, 1999 CRSHS transferred to its present site, which was donated by the Provincial Government of Benguet.
