Vick Evans was the chief executive officer of the Constable Care Child Safety Foundation Incorporated for 14 years. He was credited with making the program relevant to today's youth and for generating corporate support for it. He was succeeded by David Gribble.
Evans had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2010, and died in April 2011.
