Computer Othello (video Game)

Computer Othello (コンピューターオセロ, Konpyūtā Osero?) is a 1978 reversi-based video arcade game developed and published by Nintendo. It is one of their earliest arcade video games along with Block Fever, after they released a dedicated console called Color TV Game 6 and a variety of electro-mechanical arcade games earlier in the 1970s. It was released exclusively in Japan in 1978. Some sources claim that Ikegami Tsushinki also did development work on Computer Othello. It is not known to have ever been released outside Japan. A home version of the game was released in 1980 for the Computer TV Game (コンピューターTVゲーム, Konpyūtā Terebi Gēmu?), the last of Nintendo's home consoles that don't require ROM cartridges, discs or any other removable media.

Famous quotes containing the word computer:

The computer takes up where psychoanalysis left off. It takes the ideas of a decentered self and makes it more concrete by modeling mind as a multiprocessing machine.
