Organization

The CEEC International College of Archbishops now numbers 8 (as of 2011), together with 34 bishops representing provincial families around the world. Rather than jurisdictional lines built upon geographic areas, the CEEC establishes dioceses and provinces relationally.

The CEEC ordains women to the diaconate and priesthood. See Article

Famous quotes containing the word organization:

The methods by which a trade union can alone act, are necessarily destructive; its organization is necessarily tyrannical.
    Henry George (1839–1897)

When a man’s partner’s killed, he’s supposed to do something about it. It doesn’t make any difference what you thought of him, he was your partner and you’re supposed to do something about it. As it happens, we’re in the detective business; well, when one of your organization gets killed, it’s, it’s bad business to let the killer get away with it. Bad all around. Bad for every detective everywhere.
    John Huston (1906–1987)

Science, unguided by a higher abstract principle, freely hands over its secrets to a vastly developed and commercially inspired technology, and the latter, even less restrained by a supreme culture saving principle, with the means of science creates all the instruments of power demanded from it by the organization of Might.
    Johan Huizinga (1872–1945)
