CALEA PAC Network
The CALEA PAC Network was formed in 2011 by the New Jersey Public Safety Accreditation Coalition as a national social networking medium for members of the extended CALEA family to communicate and connect in an open and collaborative forum for the advancement of the programs and the public safety profession. The network exists virtually using the Facebook and Twitter platforms as well as a privately owned web site to communicate and assist its supporters. The primary Mission of the Network is to promote CALEA accreditation as a means of advancing professional excellence and professionalism in law enforcement, communications, security, and training academies.
Some of the other core Missions of the CALEA PAC Network include assisting CALEA Accreditation Managers by providing:
- A database of reference model policies and directives.
- A database of approved accreditation files for reference.
- A database of model forms.
- A database of training material to support training requirements for the standards.
- An interactive forum for Accreditation Managers to discuss issues, standards, and compliance.

Famous quotes containing the word network:
“A culture may be conceived as a network of beliefs and purposes in which any string in the net pulls and is pulled by the others, thus perpetually changing the configuration of the whole. If the cultural element called morals takes on a new shape, we must ask what other strings have pulled it out of line. It cannot be one solitary string, nor even the strings nearby, for the network is three-dimensional at least.”
—Jacques Barzun (b. 1907)
