Tyler Matzek (born October 19, 1990) is a 6'3" 185-pound pitcher for the Colorado Rockies organization. He was drafted by the Rockies on June 9, 2009 in the first round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft as the 11th overall selection.

Matzek played baseball at Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, California.

On August 17, 2009, Matzek agreed to a $3.9 million signing bonus to join the Colorado Rockies organization.

For the 2010 season, he compiled a record of 5-1 and an ERA of 2.92 in 89.1 innings of work over 18 starts for Single-A Asheville. He currently plays for the Tulsa Drillers.

Prior to the 2013 season, MLB named him the 13th best prospect in the Rockies system.
