Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School

Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School (CMPMS) is a middle school in La Quinta, California which was established at the beginning of the 2006-07 school year.

The school was named for noted local resident and war hero Mitchell Paige. The school uses state-of-art equipment, such as the SmartBoard, as a regular part of the curriculum. At present, Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School has just over 1250 students enrolled. The curriculum includes drama, band, and fine arts.

This school is also the first school in California to have Dance Dance Revolution for Physical Education (P.E).
