  • The School of Accountancy: The School of Accountancy at KSU is home to the largest accounting program in Georgia and is regarded as one of the best programs in the Southeast. The mission of the School is to be a thought leader in the accounting field and to prepare students for careers in public, management, corporate and governmental accounting.
  • The Department of Economics, Finance & Quantitative Analysis: The largest department in the Coles College offers two BBA programs. As part of its emphasis on experiential education, the department has recently set up a student managed investment fund and the Henssler Trading Room to train students on investing in securities. Students and Faculty have the opportunity to be certified in using Bloomberg Professional. The EFQA Department also houses the Econometric Center that conducts studies of economic conditions including the oft-cited Purchasing Manager’s Index for Georgia.
  • The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship: This department is know for their high quality, contemporary and applied courses in entrepreneurship, human resource leadership, business process management, family owned business, and general management. They focus on small, medium, and large organizations providing services and products in our highly competitive global environment.
  • The Department of Marketing & Professional Sales: The marketing curriculum at KSU merges marketing theory with real-world practice to prepare students for working with either for-profit or nonprofit organizations. Since 1999, more than 500 business students have participated in their study abroad tours by visiting such vibrant cities as London, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Athens, Madrid, Dublin and Florence. This department also annually hosts and sponsors the National Collegiate Sales Competition. Last year the program brought together 132 of the top collegiate sales students from 61 universities across North America for three days of exciting and intense sales role-play competition and career networking opportunities.
  • The Department of Information Systems: The Department of Information Systems offers three degree programs: (1) a bachelor of business administration in information systems; (2) a bachelor of business administration in information security and assurance; and (3) a master's of science in information systems. Both baccalaureate degree programs lead to careers in the field of information technology. The graduate program prepares IT leaders to succeed in the global economy.
