Future Missions
The Mars Scout mission resulted in two candidates (MAVEN and Great Escape) for the 2013 mission, and were to have climate study implications as they are upper atmosphere scientific packages. The MAVEN spacecraft was selected.
The ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter is another concept, which if launched, would also study the Martian atmosphere.
