Cliff Flycatcher

The Cliff Flycatcher (Hirundinea ferruginea) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. The Cliff Flycatcher is the only species in the genus Hirundinea after the Swallow Flycatcher was merged herein as subspecies Hirundinea ferruginea bellicosa.

It is found in Colombia, Venezuela, The Guianas of Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
