Clay Crosse - Personal Life

Personal Life

Crosse said that he has struggled with lust. This ultimately started eroding the foundations of his marriage. Then in 1998, Crosse had a life-changing experience on a flight home from Seattle and this consequently led to the release of his next album A Different Man. Following this, his wife Renee began accompanying him on tours and the couple began sharing their experience of an improved marriage.

Clay and Renee Crosse also co-wrote a book with Mark Tabb titled, I Surrender All: Rebuilding a Marriage Broken by Pornography.

Currently, Clay and Renee run the Holy Homes ministry.

Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:

I know no personal cause to spurn at him,
But for the general: he would be crowned.
How that might change his nature, there’s the question.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

Quintilian [educational writer in Rome around A.D. 100] thought that the earliest years of the child’s life were crucial. Education should start earlier than age seven, within the family. It should not be so hard as to give the child an aversion to learning. Rather, these early lessons would take the form of play—that embryonic notion of kindergarten.
    C. John Sommerville (20th century)
