CITES Animals Committee 26: The 26th meeting of the CITES Animals Committee will address a number of agenda items, including sharks, snakes, sturgeons, corals, and listing criteria for commercially exploited aquatic species. It will convene immediately prior to the joint meeting of the Animals and Plants Committees, is scheduled for 22-24 March 2012 in Dublin, Ireland. Joint meeting of the CITES Animals and Plants Committees: The joint meeting of the CITES Animals and Plants Committees will address a number of agenda items common to the two scientific committees, including: cooperation with other conventions; guidelines on NDFs; transport of live specimens; and the evaluation of the RST.
