CIA Activities In Asia And The Pacific

This article deals with activities of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency in the Asia/Pacific geopolitical area.

In this region, East Asia, Central Asia (except Afghanistan), Southeast Asia (but not South Asia and Southwest Asia), and Oceania are included.

East Asia includes China, Japan, Korea and the Philippines while Central Asia includes Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Southeast Asia, meanwhile, includes Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam although Burma is included in South Asia. Oceania, on the other hand, includes Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
