Capuano, along with teammates J. J. Hardy, Bill Hall, and Jeff Suppan, appeared in an episode of The Young and the Restless on June 20, 2007. He is married to Sarah Clifford, whom he met at Duke. She was a contender for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, for the modern pentathlon.
