• Smt. Mullagiri Meramma: Notable CSI School Teacher and HM. She worked in missionary schools located in Yerraguntapalli, Sagipadu, Sivapuram, Timmireddypalli, Boyagudem etc. She worked in many other places when there were no bus facilities and no proper roads to those villages. She is instrumental in molding lives of many children including her own children who are in USA. One son is a Software Engineer in US and another one is a Doctor also from US. Her daughter is married to IPS officer who is currently IG. She is married to Sri M. Adbhuta Rao who needs no introduction in this region.
• Sri. Mullagiri Adbhuta Rao: He was born in Chintalapudi. He studied with the help of a kerosene lamp when there was no electricity in Chintalapudi and later under street lights and graduated with BE (Hons) to become first Engineer from Chintalapudi Constituency. He also did LLB. This Chief Engineer has worked on prestigious projects like Srisailam Dam, Nagarjunasagar Dam, Dowlaiswaram, Sriramsagar Project, Nagireddygudem Project etc. He constructed one of the first commercial complexes in Chintalapudi which became landmark called “Andhra Bank Building” near old bus stand. He is a philanthropist and humanitarian who founded Karunalayam-Orphanage, Home for the aged. He constructed Shirdi Sai Mandir and Rammandir. He is actively involved in Chintalapudi Constituency politics since over a decade. He is married to Mullagiri Meramma and they have three children. His elder son is Er.Sridhar (USA), younger son is Dr. Praveen also from US and daughter Mrs.Sridevi is married to Mr.Madhu Kumar,IPS-Inspector General of Police. Sri.Mullagiri Adbhuta Rao is a strong supporter and contender for YSR Congress Party.
• Er. Sridhar Mullagiri:He is the elder son of Sri. Mullagiri Adbhuta Rao & Smt. Mullagiri Meramma. He is a professional with 20 years of experience in IT with last 10 years focused on Program/Delivery management. He has done his M.S (Computer Science) and MBA (Finance and Telecom) from USA. He has worked for prestigious US companies such as AT&T, Microsoft, BellSouth, Cingular Wireless, GTE. He currently lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA along with his wife Sreedevi Mullagiri. He is working in Tech Mahindra Americas Inc., as Program Director handling the delivery of AT&T Mobility & Home Solutions IT suite of applications.

• PV Sunil Kumar IPS. Inspector General of Police . Now working as IG Special Protection Force. He is a notable writer who gave two novels and fifty short stories
• Bandi Gangadhara Venkata Ramarao was a landlord and awarded best agriculturist in West Godavari in 1960. He donated lands to poor people who are out for help. He is the founder donor of Vishwanath ashram.
• Katakam Guravaiah was an agriculturist who pioneered Best Practices in Agriculture. His forte' was mango cultivation and commercial crops. He believed in organic cultivation with minimal damage to the Agricultural lands. He funded AICCI. He build a Hanuman mandir nearby.
• Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao is a politician, ex-MLA and Minister from West Godavari and Andhra Pradesh. He was in the TDP and is now in the Congress. He is playing a vital role in National Level now.
• Er. Katakam Surya Prakash Rao was the first engineer from the region, and a pioneer in the telecom revolution along with Rajiv Gandhi and Sam Pitroda. He is still contributing to his Native region in several ways.
• Maddala Rajesh Kumar is a politician, and the MLA of Chintalapudi from 2009 to date. He has completed his Masters of With an Engineering degree he worked as a software engineer. He is the youngest MLA in the 13th assembly at the age of 28.
• Satyanarayana Mandalapu is a politician from Chinthalapudi. During his tenure as Samiti president, he concentrated on infrastructure such as road and facilities like drinking water and irrigation ponds. He is well known for his charitable works and interest in social justice. The Eluru Club honored Satyanarayana by unanimously electing him as the president of the club.
• Teegavarapu Seetharamaiah was a village administrative officer. He has a street named after him.
• Gujjula Ramadasu MEO,Head Master,Ex PR Employees Society President.Born in a poor farmer family in a small village called Kudaravalli near Gudiwada to Late Shri Maha Vishnu and Late Sugunamma.Served the Girijana Lambada community in Nagireddygudem as a teacher and well wisher,He was also PR Employees co operative society President,who served 4 mandals teachers.Activist of APTF and Malamahanadu.

• Dr. Mullagiri Praveen;born in Chintalapudi, is a famous Medical Doctor, Entrepreneur and Dancer who is known internationally. During School days, he topped in Sainik School Korukonda entrance exams. He also passed out MBBS as a topper with 3 Gold Medals in Medicine, Surgery and OBG. He travelled to different countries around the world. He worked in Georgia Clinic in Atlanta USA and started a US based company called Samzo, Inc and outsourced Healthcare Informative Services work to India which contributed to create some employment in our country. He financially supported Georgia State Politicians in US. He is one of the founder members of Karunalayam-Orphanage for old people in Kovvurugudem, Chintalapudi. He has three children with popular Telugu Heroine “Rajani” who acted in Majnu, Bramhaputhrudu and Aha Naa Pellenta etc. He continues to support various Christian Ministries, orphanages, pastors and evangelists both in US and India. He is friendly and has influential contacts globally. His friends are in TDP and He is a strong supporter of YSRCP.
