Child Care Management System

Child Care Management System or CCMS, is an Australian national child care system that aims to bring all approved child care services online.

Centres must through registered software record child, enrolment and attendance information to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). This allows for the department to calculate payment of Child Care Benefit (CCB) fee reductions on behalf of children in their service.

Famous quotes containing the words child, care, management and/or system:

If there is a price to pay for the privilege of spending the early years of child rearing in the driver’s seat, it is our reluctance, our inability, to tolerate being demoted to the backseat. Spurred by our success in programming our children during the preschool years, we may find it difficult to forgo in later states the level of control that once afforded us so much satisfaction.
    Melinda M. Marshall (20th century)

To be idle and to be poor have always been reproaches, and therefore every man endeavours with his utmost care to hide his poverty from others, and his idleness from himself.
    Samuel Johnson (1709–1784)

The management of fertility is one of the most important functions of adulthood.
    Germaine Greer (b. 1939)

To care for the quarrels of the past, to identify oneself passionately with a cause that became, politically speaking, a losing cause with the birth of the modern world, is to experience a kind of straining against reality, a rebellious nonconformity that, again, is rare in America, where children are instructed in the virtues of the system they live under, as though history had achieved a happy ending in American civics.
    Mary McCarthy (1912–1989)
