Charles Berger (academic)

Charles Berger is an American professor emeritus of communication at University of California, Davis, USA.

Berger received his B.S. in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the Michigan State University where he received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication. He is a Fellow and former president of the International Communication Association. Berger is best known for his formulation of uncertainty reduction theory.
